LTU

In order to provide support to greater than ever productivity in the fabric forming industry, The ALMAC Group in collaboration with BOND, now produces Off Loom Take-up Systems. Bond Textile Machinery, Inc. has literally sold thousands of the Bond Off Loom Large Roll Take-ups operating with Sulzer Weaving Machines as well as almost every other make of weaving machine. This machine is well proven to last more than 20 years with almost no maintenance.

  • Heavy-duty design that will batch large rolls up to 72" in diameter. The electrical and the mechanicals are placed in separate boxes for safety.
  • Lighted and movable board surface simulate actual cloth room inspection.
  • Speed of the Take-up synchronized with that of the Loom using a dancing roller mechanism, which gives perfect tension control of the Fabric.
  • Face in or Face out winding.
  • Operators Platform for easy fabric passage and On-Loom inspection of the fabric
  • Low Maintainance
  • Operators Platform with anti-fatigue material and toe-guards.
  • Externally visible readout on the tension control system assures consistent tension from fabric forming machine to take-up.
  • Positive tension adjustment allows precise selection for any fabric on any loom.
  • Surface and center winds are available options for maximum flexibility.
  • Semi-automatic doffing of the finished roll is an available option.
  • Capable of handling any kind of fabric from the heaviest denim to the most delicate glass fiber.
  • Designs available to fit any make of loom.
  • Flexibility in design such as our over head take-ups to maximize the minimum space available.

  • Reduced doffing required due to the large diameters rolls greatly reduces manpower in the weaving room.
  • Tremendous reduction in the number of seams, making the subsequent dying, printing, finishing, cutting and sewing operations more economical.
  • With fabric inspection carried out at the loom, a large number of defects can be eliminated.

  • Machine speed is as adjusted automatically as per the weaving speed.
  • Power requirements vary from 0.25 H.P. to 0.50 H.P. depending upon the fabric size you select.
  • We engineer machines suitable for 1524 mm to 4064 mm fabric width sizes.
  • Effective lighted area of the inspection platform is 420 mm (Larger area can be designed).

The ALMAC Group in technical collaboration with BOND, USA have and can design & developed Loom Take-Ups (Batching Motions) to suit all types of applications. Any type of Woven, Non-Woven or knitted Fabrics can be taken up on our machines.

You tell us your module mix, and we will integrate them in just the right way to suit your needs.

Length Measuring Devices :
We offer a variety of length measuring options to suit your requirements from more accurate mechanical devices to the most accurate electronic ones. We provide accuracies up to +/- 1mm. Our electronic devices comes with a digital display for easy viewing of the production data.

Selvedge Shifting Devices (Oscillator) :
For fabrics with thick selvedges, the rewinding unit can be fitted with a selvedge-shifting device to re-roll the fabric evenly and thus undo the bowing effect.

Semi-Automatic Doffing :
Large finished roll can be easily doffed in a cart or trolley using our semi-automatic doffing which is powered from the same take-up motor.

On-loom Inspection :
Lighted inspection stand actually stimulates cloth room inspection and allows defects to be detected as soon as they are made on the loom, thus stopping more from being made. Vertical, angular and moving Inspection Stand arrangements are available. These Inspection Stands come with internal lighting to enhance the defect detection.
