• The fabric roll is rested to 2 M.S. Fabricated motorized rollers to warp the polythene sheet around the fabric roll, which is driven by a 0.5 H.P. A.C. motor.
• Push button operation helps the operator to warp the fabric roll around the fabric roll.
• A manual slitting guide is provided to slit the polythene sheet once the polythene has been rolled on fabric roll.
• Vertical movement of the bottom-sealing bar performs bottom sealing of the polythene sheet.  By pressing one of the push buttons, pneumatic cylinders are actuated which life the bottom-sealing bar.
• The side sealing is performed by 4 side-sealing arms, which are run by two sets of motorized screws for their longitudinal movement.
• Two individual 0.5 H.P A.C. motors power the two sets of motorized screws. Limit switches have been provided to stop the motion of the screws once the fabric edge position is been reached.
• The lateral movement of the side sealing arms is also performed by pneumatic cylinders, which are actuated by another push button.
• The complete system is PLC controlled and the electricals are placed in a separate box for the convenience of the maintenance staff.

The ALMAC Group has designed and developed Semi-automatic Roll Packing Machine to enable high speed and high quality fabric roll packing. This state of the art design facilitates both bottom and side sealing of the fabric roll while providing a high quality finish output. This machine can be either used individually or can be put behind a batching device so that instantaneous sealing of fabric rolls would be possible before storage. Motorised Cutting of Polythene Sheet :
A motorized cutter can be provided, which by press of a button would slit the polythene.

Material Handling System using Conveyers for input and output of fabric rolls :
Belt and roller conveyers designed to handle fabrics rolls can be provided which would automate the feeding and delivery of the rolls to the packing machine.

Weigh Mac :
A digital weighing device, which enables weighing of the fabrics rolls before they are sent to the warehouse for storage.

Higher Levels of Automation :
Our designers at The ALMAC Group are working on fully automating this machine in order to improve the efficiency and remove the human interference to the minimum thus giving better throughput and quality. Bar Coding :
In order to tack the fabrics roll once they have been stored, we can provide a bar-coding arrangement through out the system. At the packing machine, a bar-coding scanner and printer can be provided for final label printing before storage.
