LengthMAC

This is a high accuracy length-measuring device. This high accuracy is achieved due to a combination of mechanical and electronic units. The mechanical unit has a nylon roller and an aluminum knurled roller assembly inside a sheet metal housing. The nylon roller is spring loaded and the knurled roller is adjustable as per the thickness of the fabric being measured. The fabric is held between these rollers, thus ensuring no slippage. The nylon roller is connected to an encoder that electronically measures its revolutions. The encoder is connected to the digital display that displays the length in meters or yards. This entire system delivers a very high accuracy in the range of +/- 10 mm.

PredeterminingMAC

This is used to stop the fabric at a preset length and actuate a further action of automatic cross cutting. This system works as an upgrade of the LengthMAC by not only displaying the length measured but also allowing presetting. Upgrades of this device, at an extra cost allow RS 232 connectivity for connecting to the computers etc.

DataMAC

This is our PC based Defect Data Logging and Analysing Software System. This system is very handy for entering and analyzing the defect data identified during the Inspection of the fabrics. Using this software, the operator can enter various details about the defects identified such as type, severity, name, etc. The position of this defect is taken automatically from the mechanical unit of the LengthMAC, which comes along with this system. To indicate the location of a cut able defect, the LabelMAC can be programmed to place a label automatically on the selvedge of the fabric. Once the defect data for a particular roll or batch of rolls is collected, the software allows the supervisor to analyze the quality of the fabric roll. A defect map is also generated using which the supervisor can scroll down the same to check the position and the severity of each defect. For analyzing the defect data, various graphs are generated which indicate trends coming from different processes which the fabric has gone through before it is finally ready. These trends allow the supervisor to ensure that the corresponding defects are rectified or stopped at point of making so as to make defect free fabrics. The analysis of this data also allows the supervisor to judge the actual quality of the fabric instantly and also allow him to decide whether the same can be supplied to the customer or not. This data can be further analysed on our Cut Map Generating Software, which determines the best way to cut the roll for generating maximum 1 st quality rolls, 2 nd quality rolls and then 3 rd quality rolls. Other auxiliary devices such as WeighMAC, LabelMAC, and AutocutMAC can also be installed on this system for higher levels of automation.

LabelMAC

This device can be conveniently used to tag defects on the selvedges of the fabrics on the press of a button. To indicate the location of a cut-able defect, the LabelMac can be programmed to place a label automatically on the selvedge. This device can also be operated through the DataMAC.

AutocutMAC

This is the motorised cross cutter and is used for cross cutting the fabric. The cutter can also be programmed to cut fabric at the cut length specified on the predetermined counter or according to the cut map generated by the 'Cut Map Generator'.

 

AutoedgeguidingMAC

Automatic Edge Guiding MechanismPerfectly aligned straight edges in tunes of +/- 1 to 2 mm are obtained using our models with automatic edge guiding mechanism. This device receives selvedge movement feed back from sensors, which then actuates a motorized screw type unit to perform the correction accordingly. This device is fully electronic and does away with requirements such as compressed air, oil for hydraulic pump etc.

 

WeighMAC

This device allows weighing of the fabric rolls. A digital display shows the exact weight in Kilos or in Pounds. This weight data once captured can be downloaded on the DataMAC for label printing and other applications. This device gives an accuracy of +/- 50 gms.

 

 

 

BarcodingMAC

We can also provide bar coding scanner on our machine for easy inventory management of your fabrics. For printing bar code for sticking labels on rolls, we can provide a bar code printer. This label can be designed by the operator to show data's such as length, weight, number of defects, fabric type etc.
